Lovely names with wonderful meanings! My daughter's middle name is Mae too. We named her after her grandmother's middle name (I actually spelled it wrong) but we liked the "e" instead of May.

fave childhood books

My all time favorite series: the Little House books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I started in third grade, (I think) and would reread every winter! I was so thrilled when later it was a tv show.

Allergies and scratchy throat

I'm self diagnosing with Google and get lots of mixed ideas. I have a weird taste in my mouth (have had a long time)-went to dentist in Aug. He said it could be a medication causing it.

first frost

We had a predicted frost warning, but it doesn't look like we got a true one. The tomatoes and peppers still look ok here. I know it's coming soon though! My DH dug our first red potatoes last night....
