Another thought...

Ask if you are allowed to send an email or notice to staff and families asking for book donations. Youíll get a ton- people love to give books to classrooms!

Keep it simple!

I would begin with teaching them routines and procedures. Go for the intrinsic motivation first. Be consistent with consequences and keep practicing those routines and procedures.

Iíd get one where the teacher could get something personal or for the classroom, if they wish. A local supermarket or Target would be great. At Dunkiní they could always get a sandwich.

Are the regular Ed openings?

Iíve done both, and although regular Ed has its challenges, itís not as draining as self contained special Ed, imho.

I would lean towards going into gen ed.
