Also, the parents have to be on board and there are usually a lot of hoops to go...

Amazon has some too/

https://www.amazon.com/UV-Protection-Clothing/s?k=UV+Protection+Clothing

After a family member went through Chemo, he was advised to wear UV protectant clothing any time he was outdoors.

We got about 4" at school

It snowed steadily from noonish to around 4...

Most of it melted but some remains. It is supposed to be 73 on Sunday...

It is a lovely spot

But, all things considered, I would feel out-peopled in my own home-- It would need staff at that size.

I go home to protect myself from people-- it would not be a good match for me even if I...

you have been taken care of by now...

BUT-- our urgent care immediately refers to ER when you mention "heart" in any capacity. If you do not immediately agree, or you are reluctant to make the...

Same story (times two)

DD broke her left elbow in second grade--Didn't take her in until about 12 hours later when it was so hugely swollen her clothes needed to be cut off in that area. Needed surgery to set pins in...

Can you get anything to go along with

their adventure to the game--concession vouchers, hat, shirt or button of the home team, a padded bleacher cushion to prevent a sore bum?

If the park allows goods brought in, you could get a...

It is not UNcommon to me

BUT, it is weird that they agreed to the initial testing and eval in the first place THEN refused to hear the results.

I did have one child that qualified the same month/year that we went from the...

My guess

is that it was hospital rounds, consultations, emails/office stuff, or staff meetings.

It doesn't help that you are there for a blood pressure check. I always need a few minutes to calm down...

I agree with PP

Not accusatory, just "I planned to go the library Monday and didn't see your contribution. Can you double-check the Venmo to confirm you put my address in right?"

Thhat way does a reminder and a...

Lol.

I use it on all three-phone, tablet, and computer. If I am just briefly browsing or doing short answers, all are fine choices. If I want to respond at length or save things, I prefer my laptop.

This irks me as well

I know that it is "public" property. I know it is not my personal space. I know that I have no reasonable expectation of privacy...

I know all that. It doesn't change the sense of violation I...

I believe it!!

If it's less expensive than a limo, it is not a cost thing. Kids have been doing limos for a long, long time.

It is unique and attention-grabbing-- why is that a bad thing? Lots of proms are...

since I am SpEd, I have my phone propped on a leaning phone stand to see my timers and alarms, etc. (Since I am SpEd, my para also carries her phone when out of the room with students, in case she...

That is tough...

I think you should consider all the angles. There are people who buy less cared for homes to update and flip.

If she is not willing or ready for some level of assisted living, can you sell both...

I hate that for you

I too have had days (and years) like that. I don't really have any good advice but wanted you to know I can commiserate with you.

This year has been unique--good and bad--in so many ways. I don't...

it is tricky...

What about getting a gift they can share or both use? I know board games are out of vogue in this day of video everything--especially by 9 but maybe others will have ideas on what...

I like them.

But I am tall and long-legged. I do feel they are very comfortable for me.

Like PP said, there are also many versions of them now.

There are some that claim to be Amish made. They are a...

all of us wore our eyeliner in that watermark? area.

Later it was said to make eyes looks smaller and close set so it went out of fashion.

I rarely wear eyeliner now and when I do, I put...

My thoughts...

I am a weight loss pro. I have lost and found again many, many pounds over the years. Unfortunately, I find it easier than I lose it.

1. Yes--let it go. You may eventually size up again-it's...

It bugs me that it is larger than

regular cards and that it does not have a built-in fold at the appropriate spot to make it regular size.
