Yes, it is important to have a regular ed teacher at the meeting, but that regular ed teacher should be the child's teacher not just a warm body.

Never Had a Problem

I don't agree. I think homework builds responsibility/using time wisely, and is a better use of time than TV and video games...although I do think kids should have time after school for free play...
