Read Appendix A from www.corestandards.org and you will learn all about text complexity.

Also, according to the CCSS Sarah Plain and Tall is listed as an exemplar text in Appendix B!!

Well, it was exactly as the PPs described. I had the locker, heavy duty headphones, etc. Glad it's out of the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
