Help for lost papers

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for when kids do cut and paste activities. What I mean specifically is how do you keep your students from loosing the little items they cut out before...

No he really can't as we live in a cold place and so have snow from November to March and least and add to that a very small gym, but thanks for the suggestion.

I wish we could get them outside earlier. I agree that it would help a lot. Unfortunately we have a very short amount of time to get 3 grades in and out for lunch. The lunch period starts at 11:15...
