I started out as

Jamma--a mutation of Gramma. But as he got older, he modified it back to the original so, by the time the others arrived, Gramma was it. DH is Papa or Pops.

With hating your stove but you could buy a Noodle Board to cover it when not in use. It is one board that covers all the burners at once instead of just one at a time.

If the meal is heavy, wet or needs cutting, we use the dishes-otherwise, it is paper plates.

I don't care what kind or type so I buy the cheap paper plates-usually off brand. DH prefers those...
