Fountas and Pinnell phonics

Does anyone use this phonics program? We may be using it next year. All I've heard is that it's a lot of prep work. Is it like Words Their Way at all?

I don't know if you share the aide between the 3 classrooms at your grade level or not. If you do, maybe the other 2 classrooms shouldn't get a share. You obviously need the help.
