100th day of school?

This is my first year in fourth. What are some ways to do the 100th day of school that require higher depth of knowledge than the first grade ways I am used to? Activities? Ideas?

Helping verb song

I agree just memorizing them is not the way to go. BUT there is a helping verb song set to jingle bells my kids loved so much they sang it during transitions and helped a lot!

Love math journals

I use an alphabox in the front and problem solving rubric. We use it to write about what we leaned, explain games play, record a few problems, brainstorm prior knowledge and write new info learned....
