Photostory 3 + Audacity = Great Projects

I have done some fantastic projects using Photostory combined with Audacity. The kids did original artwork, I scanned them.They also used free photos etc online, then they read their original poetry...

ADD Books

I have found the books by Dr.John Ratey and Dr. NEd Hallowell useful( not specific to girls) They have written a few. Look on the CHADD site for lots of resources, including titles of books.

pencil sharpener

Be sure to not let them sharpen colored pencils- I have read they gum up the sharpener, so I stopped and the sharpener has lasted much longer. I bought some inexpensive hand-held sharpeners for color...
