we had blizzard conditions from last night and it's supposed to last until midnight tonight. 50-60 mile an hour sustained winds...all you heard all day and even now is howling winds

Help Spend My Money

Hi I have $300 to spend at Walmart for things for my classroom. I feel like I have everything I need, because I've been teaching for 33 years. I love doing anything fun and hands on with my kids....

Crazy Hat Day

We sometimes do crazy hat day instead of regular Halloween. The students make a hat that is scariest, silliest, or most creative.

Glass cleaner

I use Windex Wipes...and they work great. One wipe cleans the whole board. I use them during whole group math lessons and you can erase cleanly and write on the board right away after cleaning it. ...

A Quiet Place

The opening scene of the movie was filmed in my little town. The most exciting thing that's happened hear in a long, long, time. The actors were great and signed autographs and chatted with people.

Use Wonders

We had the same choice last year...Wonders/Ready Gen. We found that Ready Gen was very heavy into using technology...(of which we don't have much of). So we chose Wonders. This year is very tough...

I always ask them how much is it worth.....in the hundreds place...is it worth 2 , 20, 200. They seem to understand that and expanded form, that was mentioned before.

Loads of fun

We did this at the end of the year and the kids loved it. It was fun watching the groups build their towers. It is an inexpensive science/stem activity too!

gianigranite.com has paint kits that let's you paint your counter tops to look like granite. Slow, process, but looks nice at the end.

nosebleeds and the ent told me to spray afrin onto a cotton swab and put it into my nose. Stopped the bleeding quite quickly. Don't know if you just put it on cotton and hold it on the bleeding,...

Puffs

Once you get your board clean with water, you can use Puffs tissues with LOTION. They work great and leave your board clean. It almost looks like a new board. I do this all the time.
