200,000+ teachers were on strike today. I was proud to march with over 20,000 of them this morning. Cold but so worth it. And I got 12,000 steps in!

I so agree with you. I teach kindergarten and will sometimes buy supplies for centres, but I try to look for loose parts that can be repurposed.

I hated the loot bags filled with dollar store...

Last June, a parent gifted me some beeswax wrap. I really like it for covering food in the fridge. Better than plastic wrap for small bowls/dishes without lids.
