Is there a reason that your paras cannot provide the in class support? Ours do, they aren't teaching they are only providing support when the student is struggling.

Ours were stuck with velcro. When I would let them use colored pencils as a treat, I just pulled that cup up and put the "magic cup" in it's place.

I feel ya...

I ended up taking a para position last year and that was what got me my position this year. If nothing comes up then I would opt for that route if you can afford the minimal pay and work your butt...
