The collective ignorance in

this world is monumental.

I saw that and just thought how freaking stupid would you have to be to try something like that?

I never use ice in drinks.

I usually drink water, even carbonated beverages, at room temp or just slightly chilled.

This may seem harsh.

Did you fall or were you pushed? Did you fall because you were trying to get out of your son's reach?

I am very concerned for your well-being. Please think about getting additional help with your...

That dog would never be in my

bed again. Of course, no dog or cat is allowed in my bed. Love animals, but not that much.LOL:p:);)

Two words:

Bioidentical hormones. You won't get them from your regular OB/GYN. They will offer you synthetic hormone made from horse urine.

Find a good naturopath or doctor of osteopathy. You do not have...

Try upping your intake of B vitamins,

particularly B1 and B6. Also, calcium magnesium in a powdered form in water (CALM) may help you.

So she's not officially part of the family

yet. What if, in the future, someone in the photos leaves the family through divorce? Will they cut that person's image out of the photo? This may not have been intentional, but someone needs to...

I missed your original post.

Hope your DS is better soon. It is never easy to have our children become seriously ill.

I have seen many disturbed children

but one little boy stands out. When he got angry, he would refer to his para as "WOMAN." He would say, "Don't try it, WOMAN. Leave me be, WOMAN." He even spoke to me that way more than once,...

Here is an article about leaky gut

that I found interesting. I don't think I have it, but it is fairly common in autistic people. I was doing the research to see if we can help my niece, who has a lot of stomach issues. There is...

Just attended a 6th grad graduation

My niece graduated. As they gave out awards for the highest scores in standardized tests, I could not help but notice only FOUR girls out of 22 students who had high scores. There were multiple...

Knowing myself, I probably would not

believe it or take it as the final word. I would start looking for ways to cure myself. For cancer, I would start downing Essiac Tea and probably Sundrider herbal products. I have cured myself of...

I believe substance abuse is

a hallmark of mental illness. People are trying to medicate the uncomfortable feelings away.

Not sure about Bourdain, though

he allegedly had addiction issues.

Kate Spade's husband said she had been undergoing treatment for anxiety and depression for the past five years.

I agree with you, MAsped,

though I also do not feel comfortable saying it. I have felt pretty low a few times, so low that I felt I could understand why someone would choose suicide, but the thought of my children always...

The thing that gets me is that both

Bourdain and Kate Spade had access to the best medical care. Which tells us a lot about the state of affairs vis-a-vis the ability of our medical and psychiatric resources to actually figure out...

I travel a lot.

In the past couple of years, no one has ever looked at my meds, those in the original bottles or those all jumbled up together in one bottle that I carry in my purse. Security is not a big deal...

Perhaps you could offer to

buy her a home security package. That way, an alarm will go off if the security code is not entered. And can she have bars installed on the groundfloor windows? The kind you can open from inside,...

Worst part - her daughter is in HIGH SCHOOL.

She was "taking a shortcut" because she was late and they were doing star testing, so apparently the elementary school was just a vacant lot to her. She should have gotten several tickets. The...

This is why I never trusted anyone

else to watch my kids near a pool. Even their dad had a tendency to stay stupid stuff like, "She'll figure it out" when the kid was clearly struggling.

We always had pool parties at our club for...

I have always heard that if you take a lot

of B vitamins, they will not be attracted. Also, less dairy in the diet.

The main ingredient in Deet used to be oil of Pennyroyal, which really stinks, but is effective.

Mosquitos don't like...

I have been thinking of using this

paint on my cupboards, which are also dark. They can be used alone or combined for different effects.

Check out the samples. Some really nice color combos.
