We are having a full-on blizzard here

today and predicted for the next two days. They rarely close our local city schools (and by city, I mean a population of 12,000 people, LOL), but all the little surrounding country towns' schools...

hitchinghiker - it is already in the U.S.

https://news.yahoo.com/us-officials-testing-coronavirus-26-213400069.html

We have no way of telling how bad it will be or how badly the fear of it will be used to manipulate the population. People...

I pay $48 for cut and color, not including

tip, which brings it to $60. Today I got highlights, so it was $68, bringing it to $82 total with tip.

I have lived places where it costs $150 for the same services (L.A.). But this young lady...

I seem to have the opposite luck with

car rentals. The last two times I have reserved a rental car in CA, when I arrived, they gave me cars that were two levels above what I rented b/c they were out of the economy level, but charged me...

Now if only they could place the #1

admitted sexual predator on trial and we could hear the 19+ women he has attacked testify. That will be the day I jump for joy, but Weinstein is a good start. Disgusting predators are starting to...

I bought a dress for my niece's wedding that

"fits" me, but it won't look great unless I lose some inches and possibly 7-8 pounds. Does not sound like much. I know how to do it. I have done it before. That is part of the reason it is difficult...

I love textured cards.

I always save parts of cards to make new ones, too. You did a great job on this one.

So will he commit suicide in jail

or get a pardon? Oh, wait, he still has to stand trial in L.A. for the same types of crimes.

From February 1 through March 29th.

Mercury is Retrograde in Pisces. Whatever does happen is likely to be misunderstood or not well-received. Very emotion-laden energy. Most intense from February 18th - March 9th.

I am a Pisces, and...

Oh, Nancy, I hope you can convince

her to come home. I have seen some people turn their lives around because of a pregnancy, but still, this is just one more complication for her. You must be terrified. The fact that she has to go...

How old is he? Does hypochondria run in his

family?

My kids' stepdad was fine until he hit his late forties. Then he just fell apart mentally, emotionally, physically. By his early fifties, he was taking enough medications to choke a...

Are you referring to menopause?

Find a good osteopath or naturopath and get on the right combination of bio-identical hormones. They will test your blood, urine, or saliva and then mix up a compound specific to your needs. I do...

IMHO, your mom is lucky to be alive

She should never do business like this, driving strangers around to banks. OMG.

Also, like many have said, the DMV does NOT buy vehicles, but they used to have a program in CA where the DMV or...

She looks like she was a lot of fun

to be around. I can see she loved helping you. So sad for your loss. Moms are special and we only get one in a lifetime. Take care of yourself and your dad in this sad time.

I love how she is with a different man

every season and how she is very dismissive of her sex life and gets a bit huffy if the men get too attached. She really breaks the stereotypes. <!--giggle-->:):D

Great series on Hulu - Helen Mirren

in Prime Suspect. I always love British crime shows, because the police are never portrayed as infallible or even good human beings. They tend to be character-driven, rather than shoot-em-up action...
