Personally,

I don't think babysitting is the same closeness at all. Sometimes familiarity breeds contempt as they say. Some grands feel taken for granted in those cases. Or feel that since they are paid, they...

I agree with those who recommend

Letting the older child choose for herself, and if she opts out, let the younger GD bring a guest.

Then, as Grandma, either way--make the day the best you possibly can. Eat out, see the show,...

My DH has one and it is gorgeous.

He is super active and has also worked many jobs where a metal ring is not practical. It is made in the style of a braid or Celtic knot.

It was actually designed and applied(?) by/tattooed on him...

This sounds right:

I teach HS SpEd so the time is dependent on how much material I already have gathered for the concepts at the time. I have no set curriculum in any given subject. I do have some resources I have...

I do change the kitchen towel often. I don't even keep hand towels near the kitchen.

To me, a hand towel is a thick, heavy nap towel that is the same weight...

There seem to be sooo many students with issues--from lack of respect in general to behavior, anger control or other issues--that we cannot keep up with them all.

There are kids with anger...

I am in the Jiffy mix crowd. I do not add extra sugar...

Use the money for...
