At my school...

...we use the following:

Restroom - cross index and middle finger
Water - make "W" with three fingers
Sharpen pencil - Pinky is up

I think there are a couple more, I just can't remember...

Game days

Game days are good for this age group. I've had mine bring their own games such as, connect four, checkers, chess, monopoly. They are "thinking" games and our class would create tournaments. HTH
