You can also address assessing growth - using pre-assessments and tracking how well they play their instrument (or whichever subject). Tracking growth is really important and a great assessment...

Assign whatever you want them to watch/read and then use a "Paul's Reasoning Model" graphic organizer to help them draw conclusions. You can Google it and there are plenty to choose from.

Constant talking drives me crazy. Mine don't respond like that, but each "stop talking" by me only yields about 3-5 minutes of no talking and then they start up again. Makes me feel really dismissed...
