Everyday Math

Hi All,

Does anyone have any ideas for pretest for EDM? I know I can give students the end of unit test prior to beginning, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas. Thanks!

We do Penguins...

I would go with it... if you have the information, etc., and they are into it....teach it!! we teach penguins in January, then go into the Iditarod when it begins(in March) They love the Penguin...

I don't use this idea, but I did know a teacher that did. She took cereal boxes and cut them off diagonally, then the kids could decorate with construction paper, foamies, letters, etc. Each one...
