that same site. Klarabelle, great minds think alike.

When you do to the word lists, look for the little PPT icon. The ones WITH sound will have a tiny yellow speaker in the corner. The ones...

We allow them

We have teachers, students, and parents all wearing them. They are popular around town as well. We are small and rural so we appreciate anyone trying to cover with anything.

It is about the money, Honey!! Not that you didn't know that. They will claim the equity thing, the IEP minutes are Federal law, "they need a routine" and all sorts of excuses. Bottom line is...

So many things have changed since then...

Even the names of things. I graduated college a bit before you. I don't remember anything like that either. Then my career took a turn as well and I ended up doing social work for 10 years before...

Not ANGRY mobs, necessarily

But crowds and sports and concerts. I can see how easy it could be.

I've surprised myself in some moments when I realize how easily swayed I've been.

I have a motley collection

as I have tried many to get the best fit and feel.

I decided I like the ones with the vertical seam in the center best. They don't snug up to my mouth and nose as much as others. I like the...

It is just now affecting me...

All along, I have been the one reassuring others that this will all work out. I have been telling people that "I am cautiously optimistic about it." I have said that I am concerned but not afraid. ...

Life skills can be tough but you

can do this. Try to keep stress managable. Language still needs to be SIMPLE. Super simple. If your students are low enough to need this in MS, some of them maybe at the Pre-1st level in academics....

About anything will work

if it is older kids, you can hot glue a pompom on the end of a dry erase marker. The bigger pompoms work better on the regular markers and the smaller ones on the thin markers.

For little kids,...

If the main change

was the workbook and not the stories themselves, just pick and choose between the two editions for yourself. The student copy may be different but you could still use the questions for discussion or...

I plan to leave it all packed up at the

moment. My classroom has hard wood floors. To get them refinished and waxed properly, I had to take everything out and pack it up. My plan is to just get out only what I will need as I need it. ...

That teacher was BLASTED

on Reddit recently. Reddit has a r/teachers group. People there mentioned these same concerns and complaints.

Some even went so far as to claim teachers like her are the reason we are all...

Around here that would be tough!!! Even if the school provided 1:1 computers, I cannot imagine most homes having enough bandwidth on their wifi for more than a couple devices...Some of our families...

I was reading a similar thread

recently and hadn't posted on it yet. (Maybe started by Checkerjane?) Apparently many districts are opting for this model. I can see that happening at my school.

Truthfully, I can see both...

No ideas to add

I worry that it is a lose-lose situation for all of us--staff and students--GenEd and SpEd--alike.

I am concerned that all of the speeches from Fauci are focus on concerns about the kids, safety...

unintended consequences for some of the students in another way that I've never seen mentioned so far... Medication abuse and overuse, possibly overdoses, etc.

Hmm.

Not the norm here for sure.

My paras are discouraged from/not allowed to do any of that. In one district, it was even specified in the contract. They are to assist with the lessons and curriculum...
