Nope. - I'm an "occasional sub" and that's plenty for me! I'm good at what I do, but I know I couldn't handle the demands that full-time teachers are under.

I agree with the others. Parent A is the winner, and an all-around jerk. These parents who make such a point of saying how much they're paying seem to have no idea what they're actually paying for....

Are you allowed to give them phone time? It's all about friends gadgets at this age, so I'd try 5 minutes on their phones at the end of class if they've done well working on the practice questions....

Reasons to drop a school

1. Kids with severe emotional/behavioral problems in regular classes without a one-on-one.

2. Excessive assignment switching (more than just an occasional emergency).

3. Too many lunch duties....
