A good book to share is

"Desperaux". I am not sure of the author, but it is a good book that the younger ones can get into. I know many Kindergarten teachers that have read it to their students.

Cold Wet Paper Towel

I always tell my students to get a cold damp paper towel to place on whatever is hurting. This is normally enough to make them stop hurting.
