This is What We Are Doing
We will be all remote until at least November. We are in an area that is classified as a hotspot. I for sure did not want to resume in person classes until we can get a better handle on this thing....

my district is the same way
It is horrible how they do this. Its so bad where I am, I just assume it will be without pay if I have to take it.

We phrased it this way
During our open house we phrased it as "in our experience, we have seen children cry when it comes time for Moms/Dads to leave. This is normal. But, for the kids to have an easier time getting used...

trouble sleeping
I am having this problem, too. It's horrible. I am thinking about using a Benedryl or Nyquil ZZZ's to see if this helps. I have cut down on coffee, get to bed earlier,etc. Nothing has helped so...
