love math log idea!

odd, because I hate Reading logs, both as a parent and a teacher! I feel like the kids who need to use them often are not necessarily truthful about the amount of time read and the kids who read...

I use base 10 blocks a lot. I have been collecting them whenever possible, sidewalk sales at the teacher store, retiring teacher tag sales, etc.

I limit too!

I teach 4th and this is my first D5 year as well. I limit read to someones to 3 pairs/round (to keep noise down) and listening to reading must be limited to 4 /round due to limited listening...
