that maybe I did something like that on an entirely different post. It was a different topic. It was about cleaning floors. Someone made a suggestion and I posted about it not being a good idea. ...

join our family who speak English as a second or fourth language I understand how confusing it is to use "a" and "the" properly and would give Melania a pass if she used "be best" in a response when...

Have you checked into your local

organizations? I know in our town there are some charity groups that build ramps free of charge for the elderly or the handicapped.
I know my dad used to build a lot of them back in the day.

Also...

Steam mops

it is the hot water/steam that over time harms wood floors, not the liquid cleaning solutions. Just to be clear.

Two suggestions..

Roomba and once in a while use Bona.
Bona is what all floor covering companies recommend. It goes in a spray bottle and you just squirt a little on the floor and run the pad/mop over it.

That's...

I am not that private a person,

however, when I had a diagnosis, as per my personal history, it seems like I must have more than one medical problem at a time. I decided to make public one of the issues and although I wasn't...

Good luck

with each state starting to give teachers at least a little better wage, others will benefit. Keep on keeping on and keep your eye on the prize.
You deserve much more than you are given.

Please Hifiman

do not try to imitate this latest trend set by the Kardashians!

Leaving your pants at home is never acceptable for the work/school environment. :D

Especially on school picture day.

I think it might depend

on the size of the graduation class. My old public high school graduates about 150 students every year. To be the valedictorian you need to be better than 149 students. At the public high school...

I don't think you should think

too much of the hissing. As far as I know the hissing is not indicating anger or dislike of the kitten. Hissing just sets up the hierarchy that adult cat is #1 and the kitten will not dominate the...

Would this be a call to the police

a few times only because it comes on before Young Sheldon which we find really funny. Annie Potts is always amusing in her role.
