Yep

It's an agave and the flower stalk will bloom looking like a fuzzy bottle brush. Usually when the plant blooms it will eventually die.

read the Seven Names and found it very interesting especially with North Korea being at the front of the news so frequently. She also did a TED Talk you might check out, too.
