This is wonderful news. I'm glad you've been able to spend time with her the past few days.

Thanksgiving

DH made a delicious meal of turkey, gravy, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green beans. In a little while we'll have pumpkin pie and decaf coffee. After that we plan to watch an episode of...

Body Cream

I have very dry skin, and no lotion is effective. I use Cetaphil moisturizing cream, and it works like a charm.

Covid

It is very sad, and I wish people would be more responsible about following safety measures.

Schools have been all virtual here since the beginning of the year. I doubt any in person learning will...

In Person School

My prediction is that they will not be going back. This second wave of Covid is the most deadly one yet. The school system will probably cancel in person learning before January.

My Opinion

I wouldn't feel comfortable with that arrangement. This year DH and I are spending Thanksgiving on our own at home. I don't socialize inside or outside at anyone's home.

Nope

I would take a giant step back from this situation. You suggested that the parents contact the teacher, and that is what they should do.
There is no need to talk to the other teacher.

Stores

I occasionally go to a store that isn't a grocery. I wear a mask, and everyone else around does too. I go to outdoor cafes for coffee with friends, we sit six feet apart, and we keep our masks on...

Ugh

That is just awful, and I feel bad for your husband. Going to a grocery store is appalling, and I hope that can stopped. I am grateful to live in Maryland where virtually everyone wears a mask.

I'm amazed that some are not bothered by this teacher's behavior. What part about a deadly disease that is in its worst phase do people not understand?

Start by talking with the teacher. Be prepared for her to be defensive, although I hope not for your sake. If things don't change go to administration and/or the union. This is serious business.

Ugh

To the people who said ignore it, I disagree. There is a deadly disease ravaging the citizenry of our country. There is no reason why someone should be allowed to blatantly disregard safety measures...

That is very poorly written. Sadly I see things like this too often. Doesn't an editor proofread and make corrections to something like this?

That looks great, but I would skip the artificial sweetener.

Those Trader Joe's crisps look delicious. Now that the holiday items are on display I have a hard time in TJs. I want to eat it all.

No Thank You

The country is dealing with the deadliest phase of Covid, and this will continue for a long time. Why in the world would a school system decide to start in person learning in a few months?
