My specialty is middle school language arts. I would love to be in your shoes right now. :p

The thing I noticed that middle schools tend to ask about is how you handle classroom management and how...

Of course, I...

I currently work part time as an SLP assistant and I can tell you that the education involved in becoming an SLP is intense. I am not working towards becoming an SLP, it just fits with my schedule...

I'm sorry

I feel for you. I've only had 1 interview in 2 years, so I applaud your effort for getting to the interview stage.

I think all schools everywhere, hire people they know.

Applicant Number??

I'm pretty sure that's just for the one job. I've applied for different jobs in the same district and they all seem to have different counts.

I feel your pain...

I, too, have applied for several hundred jobs. What I have found is that it's who you know that gets you an interview, and a lot of schools don't do their hiring until summer time.

Good luck:D

I always put the specific opening information in the subject line. So, it may say "Application documentation for blah blah position at blah blah school".

For me, it would depend on why I am...

Bothered?

Yes, I think I would be bothered by it, but it sounds like the school you're in is working for you, and you are building a lot of value for yourself.

Go for it & good luck. :)

Write it in your own handwriting, make sure it's not too long, and hand deliver it to him (or his mail slot). Don't wait until the last day of school.
