I have done the above and a few more.

If I can't do auto pay, I send a check for the year to people like the plow guy. I always have a balance and in the summers pay him for the next yr.

I just retired last yr.

So most of my friends are still working. When they call me with woes, sometimes it brings me back to a place I am so done with!

I used to be the official jar opener :)

Then my wrists weakened due to CT.
If I have trouble now, I'll take a knife and gently go around the jar smacking the edges of it. It pops kind of.....I am going to try the warm water idea above...

and suspect Shingles, go to a dr asap.

You probably should go to classes before trying a video on your own.
Remember if it hurts, don't push it.
I have known a few people who have injured themselves ( not long term) from "pushing it."

I used to love snow days in Ohio. Once I moved to Alaska, they did not have them here. No matter how much snow may fall or ice develops, you have to get there.
