Our newest teacher does it constantly, even when talking with other teachers. She'll want to talk about her class and say "One of my friends . . . ."

Not a fan
I hate this trend and won't go to restaurants that do it.
Full disclosure though, I am not a fan of self serve anything. I am still bitter about having to pump my own gas! ( seriously )
