I know it is HARD because the kids talk so much.
I would try rewards, but I have found they can't last very long before they are rewarded. I gave a reward at the end of a day, then end of a week....

Goodwill rugsI

I have found good rugs at Goodwill and other used or thrift shope. Sometimes they have them, sometimes not.

Looking for biographical poem!!!!

27 years
All at grade 3 and up....4 different schools in 4 different cities
Every year taught Language Arts...sometimes with other subjects and several years self contained.
1 year hometown...

In our state, these things count as text features:
different fonts in an article or story
italics
all caps
bold...

unfinished work problems--HELP!

I teach in a departmentalized setting. All of us have problems with students who don't get their work finished.
