I was just listening to Amy Winehouse

on YouTube and I realized how incredibly thin she was. What a pity that no one could help her. Such a talent.

I have actually been exercising more in

quarantine, because two or three of my Zumba teachers have classes online, two Yoga instructors also. Plus I tried BeachBody.

NJ Teacher - I also looked into the Pahla B workouts. I have been...

OTOH, since I am often described as a

"free spirit," a condition which often looks intriguing and fun and carefree from the outside, but which is also a double-edged sword, I get a lot of "Wish I could be more like you, wish I could...

Yes. I realized a few years back that is

probably a factor for me, but I have learned enough coping skills that I still feel it would not be worth it for me to seek medication. I like how I am, but sometimes the inefficiency and chaos can...

I sometimes wish I could be that person

who has and actually keeps routines and is able to form habits.

Not being able to form habits is a double-edged sword.

I could try from now until forever, but I will never be able to do the...

I love the part about reinforcing

and monitoring hand-washing. So we are going to install someone in the kids' restrooms all day to monitor hand-washing? But wait, adults are not allowed in the kids' bathrooms.

And the part...

My Clivia plant just keeps blooming!

This has been going on for two weeks now. At first, I didn't see how the flowers had room, cause the buds were just squished between the giant leaves, but as the flowers have bloomed, the leaves...

Yes, I actually ordered it last evening.

I chose the first one, even though all but one person who commented liked the second one. I also liked the second one, but it had too much gold in it. The first one is more me colorwise.

WacSingLof - You were the only one to

prefer the first rug, which is the one I ended up ordering.

I agree that the second one is more striking upon first glance, but the gold would start to annoy me in a not so huge room. My living...

I lived in New Mexico for seven years

and got addicted to bright colors. That combination makes me happy just to look at it.

Planning to do something equally high contrast in living room.

Speaking of decorating decisions,

I finished painting my window frames in the kitchen. Hope the two shades of purple show. Love it. Now I need to paint my door frame and also paint the door a lighter aqua that compliments the...

Amiga - you are so right!

I went insane making decisions for my bathroom, but can honestly say I am totally 100% pleased with it, particularly since they were all MY choices, MY sense of color and style.

I have bought...

Also important to understand is the

continuing voter suppression of Native American voters. I won't say who is leading that effort, but you can guess.

Here is an article discussing that issue.

Taco Bell for sure. There is another

Mexican food chain that poisoned a lot of folks a couple of years back, but I don't recall the name. I ate there once and found it disgusting.

The U.S. government has a long and heinous

history towards all Native Americans. They are subjugated people and we are occupying their land. Racism is real and actively practiced against all POC, including Native Americans. I don't...

I also have plenty to do, but have run out

of steam, because this is the time of year when I would rather be taking day trips to see friends who live 50-100 miles away or going to farm auctions with my sweetie, or doing things with friends. ...

I cannot tell you how many costumes

I made as my kids were growing up. Both were avid anime followers and often, all I got was a comic book drawing or cartoon ad as a pattern. I made bumblebees, birds, Team Rocket, other Anime...

I live in an area that is heavily-populated

by Amish. A buggy drives by my house at least twice a day, b/c this is kind of a shortcut from the main highway through the town, where they work and shop. They shop in the same stores I do and I...

I was invited to my sister's house for a small gathering to celebrate my nephew's graduation. I figured I would stop in and say hi and leave his gift. Since they have a big back yard, I thought...

I am not taking my temperature daily.

Last week, I was running a slight fever for a couple of days. I always know. Since my normal is 97.6, I'm talking 99.5-100, so I did not panic. I did take it every few hours while that was going...

LazyLake, if your aunt lost that weight

due to bariatric surgery, the removal of excess skin is considered a medical necessity under many insurance plans. Maybe she could check it out. It can only be removed surgically. No amount of...
