40 book challenge

I tried banning Wimpy Kid books, for the very reasons you mention, but they'd sneak and read them anyway... so my solution was that I do not have them in my classroom library. Also, I hate Goosebumps...

and I've used them on and off for the past 20+ years... they seemed to work better for me when I was self-contained and did the activity daily - having to do it once a week in pullout, does not work...
