I found it really helpful when I did my government unit with 4th and 5th graders. Lots of fun stuff, and done in a way that kids understand. It's a hard topic to teach....

I used to have this really cool activity on "Thick and Thin" questions for reading. I am pretty sure I got it off of here but it was a while ago. They were question stems you could use with any book....

I had the same troubles. I finally got it to work...

I had the same troubles. I finally got it to work today by paying less than $10.00 at each time. Try that if you aren't too frustrated by now :) It was worth the books I ordered, they are great!
