Yay..Im not alone :)

I have been in complete shock since I was told. I dont know anything about 1st grade but I'm excited. I just want to learn and do as much as I can now so that I can get a jump start in preparing....

You can make one and love it!

Go to JoAnnes, WalMart, Michaels and get the "no sew" tape. This way you can use an iron with the tape to hem your edges to make your skirt hang as long as you want it to. I have a skirt on my kidney...

Lunch duty/ Before school duty

What do these mean? If you have lunch duty, when do you eat? And what duty do you have in the mornings? If you have a classroom, wouldn't you be in the room with your children?

plastic containers

I use plastic containers to hold items for each individual center. The boxes are neatly stacked in two piles along a wall and labeled. Kids just go and grab the container for their assigned center...

I think so. We use Dnealian and I recently bought a "contemporary" cursive ABC chart from Target that looked just like Dnealian. I cant tell a difference at all so believe they are the same.
