Yes, yes, yes!! I left the classroom and then became a school psych. I saw this becoming more and more the case in the education system as a whole (no matter my role) that I am seriously considering leaving education. It really is too much to expect us to do all of these jobs. I think schools have way overstepped. I'd be fine with schools taking on additional roles if they did academics well....but they don't!

I had to look up where you're from, cattleya, because I was curious about which state has the honor of coming in 50th! I am looking to possibly leave my state of CA and would love to go to a state that values education more than CA does. Where do you plan to move to?
