provide snacks. But I think if they know a kid is without food they must do something to remedy that.

My school is one where most students receive free breakfast and lunch but many are hungry. They get to school too late to get breakfast and even lunch can be a problem for them. My students know I offer snacks if they or a friend are in need and I mostly feel it is not abused.
