  1. Don't forget to take time for yourselves. A burned out teacher is not usually the best teacher for students. Take time outside of school to do what you are interested in.
  2. Find a system of organizing things that works for you, is simple, and fast, and get all of your forms and essential paperwork under control.
  3. Find a buddy teacher, someone that has some experience, does a good job, and will help you when you need it. Go to them when you have questions and concerns and let them help you. You aren't supposed to know everything! Sometimes you just need to ask questions and let someone else help you figure things out.
