Two years ago I gave a math test over a geometry unit where 19 of the 20 questions could be answered from posters on the wall. 4 of my 12 students students still managed to fail it.

I have several posters up- all of them are steps to work with fractions/decimals. Each student created an identical chart and has it in their math folder. I do not consider being intelligent enough to use tools as cheating. I am not required to cover them up, so I do not.
