What subs have to do now.

Clip to ScrapBook #3

This kind of thing happens in so many schools today. I have to say, with all the teachers' meetings, training and collaborating during the school day, the behavior of students takes a front row seat rather than teaching lessons. Floating substitutes are ridiculous in the first place. There is no continuity in any learning, bonding with your students, etc. I will never sub for that anymore because of this. The kids need their teachers in their classrooms as much as possible. If you are going to get subs, get them for the entire day. School districts have become so carried away with meetings, assessments and the like that they are no longer thinking of students. I will stop at that.
