I'm currently a para and will be doing the oral admin for 4 4th grade SPED students next week for a reading and math benchmark.

I was wondering what do I do if, for instance, we're doing reading and I have 1 student that takes a really long time reading the passage while the others are quicker. Or same in math- one student who works slowly and the others at a faster pace.

Is it okay to separate them and bounce around, reading aloud the questions to each individual as they're ready?

Or is it better to keep them all at the kidney table and read each question once to all students and just wait for the slower ones to finish?
