is a wonderful and fun program that teaches economics using play dough. The students enjoy the play dough and learn about economics.
I also use books about money. Alexander, Who Used To Be Rich Last Sunday is a great book to read when discussing the concepts of wants and needs.
Tight Times is another good picture book to read.
Leah's Pony is an excellent story set during the Depression.
Ox Cart Man is another good title.
A Chair For My Mother is a good one one about saving toward a goal.
Pigs Will Be Pigs: Fun With Math and Money is another good picture book.
My students read two short chapter books. One is titled Shoeshine Girl and the other one is Max Malone Makes a Million.
Found the attached list.
