Clip to ScrapBook #2

I'm assuming you're not departmentalize and can do a variety of activities related to different subjects and will have the same group of kids the whole time.
I'd try to do some fun icebreaker kinda things----like two truths and a lie or "flip the tarp" type of games? Maybe one each day or sprinkled throughout the day.
I'd also try to do some fun STEM type activities, one each day. It can be things like building a boat out of aluminum foil that can hold the most marbles or a boat with straws/duct tape kinda thing.
I like to throw in a read-aloud with a picture book each day. I don't usually make it a "new school year" kinda thing but do books that I can tie into my ELA teaching. I used to use a Notice and Note a lot and would use some picture books to introduce those.
