Ruth Culham lists Ideas first throughout her book,
6+1 Traits of Writing.
I think unit 1, week 1 in our basal lists Organization --
with no teacher instruction other than a rubric for assessment! A teacher who has no 6-Trait knowledge would have
no clue!
