Baby raccoons are called kits. (Your last name with kits?)
A group of raccoons is called a nursery or a gaze.
The mother will teach the kits to hunt and live in the wild. (Real life world) They will stay with their kits for about a year. Like most teachers.

Instead of garbage, have them get into a picnic basket.? So what they will learn will be a picnic not garbage. Or at a picnic table in a park. A pair of binoculars-look! Or look at all you'll learn this year! The kits could make black masks to wear. Oh, and remind them to wash their hands like racoons do before they eat.

Raccoons are cute but not good as pets because they are wild and get mean towards humans.
