I will be teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students with intellectual disabilities in a self contained classroom this year. I have cute cutouts of a boy and girl that I would like to use in the classroom. I was thinking about writing the students names on them and displaying them around the room. Is this a good idea or would it be too juvenile for middle school students?
I'm not too sure about some of the ideas that I have since I need to make sure they apply to middle schoolers.
