Clip to ScrapBook #7

There's always one. In my previous job, there was one particular teacher who always dropped her kids off 2-3 minutes early and picked them up 2-3 minutes late effectively giving herself an extra 15 minutes of prep per week. When it came time to schedule specials she would move heaven and earth to be sure her class always got scheduled first thing in the morning so I wouldn't have a class ahead of hers. When I would complain, she'd always claim that her clock must be off, like that could possibly explain being both early and late.

I would be very angry if I had to deal with behavior issues that happened during a bathroom break that I wasn't supposed to have to supervise. And, on the subject of restricted bathroom breaks, doesn't your principal get floods of "nastygrams" from helicopter parents about restricting bathroom breaks for kinders? Or do you get to deal with those? I have many times gotten complaints from parents about "no bathroom" decrees that I neither made nor enforced.
