which would you go with, the Air or the Pro?

I've always done Pros, but I don't need the Touch Bar and 512 gb drives put them on par with each other in terms of processor. Air would do just fine, but it's not a Pro. Still, saving some money would be good. I feel just like Sheldon choosing PS4 for or XBOX (stupid problem. XBOX of course!)
