Clip to ScrapBook #4

I can't believe I've finally heard of someone else who uses Jolly Phonics! Hurray! I've taught first grade for 20 years, and have tried a variety of phonics programs. Jolly Phonics is by far the best, in my opinion. You don't have to buy all the components, and it's not very expensive. If you buy the teacher guide, that in itself can get you far. A colleague and I wrote a mini grant for the supplies, and we got all of it. But you don't need to have it all. I would definitely get the big book and CD with the songs for each letter sound. What I like about this program is that it's very developmental, very sequential, and it MAKES SENSE. Let me know if you have any more questions, and good luck!
