We have "word of mouth ______ (location)" FB pages in my area. The page for my actual neighborhood isn't very active. I joined another that's basically the next neighborhood over (I'm house hunting and thinking about buying in that area) and theirs is very active. It's not usually complaints.

We have Nextdoor but I hardly look at it. My neighborhood's page is super boring- 95% just people trying to sell things or asking for recommendations for plumbers, electricians, etc. I rent so don't need that information at the moment. Supposedly the Nextdoor for my school's neighborhood is very interesting and has a lot of funny drama. I'd like to see that one, but you can't look at other neighborhoods on Nextdoor.
